Our Promise
Founded in 1948, Lost Nugget Market grew up with Camptonville—once “Gold Ridge,
” a bustling stopover during the Gold Rush era. Today our tiny town (elev. 2,825 ft) is still a waypoint between Downieville and Nevada City, a neighbor to New Bullards Bar Reservoir, and home to folks who look out for each other—and for travelers, too. We’re proud to carry on that tradition the old-fashioned way: with helpful service and the little things that make a big difference on the
